The BEETLE /iPOS is a new POS terminal that meets very
wish of retailing and hospitality with its all-in-one
design and graphic user interface. The system fits
seamlessly into the product range of the open
standardsbased BEETLE POS family. It impresses with a
highly attractive design, robust black housing and a
large choice of standard and retail-specific interfaces.
Users can tailor the system to their needs thanks to a
wide range of options. Options such as a 12.1" or 15"
TFT display, capacitive or resistive touch surface,
magnetic card reader, smart card reader, motion sensor
or loudspeakers are available for the new system. As a
result, the BEETLE /iPOS can be configured flexibly to
meet the particular requirements of retailing and
ospitality. Thanks to its flexibility, the BEETLE /iPOS
can also be used as a touch-based information terminal.
In the BEETLE /iPOS, all the important components have
been integrated directly behind the TFT flat screen.
This arrangement of the components has not only made a
major contribution to the attractive and innovative
design, but also permits extremely simple
serviceability, unprecedented robustness and immunity to
external influences such as splash water. It thus
optimizes the total cost of ownership.
Like all BEETLE POS systems, the BEETLE /iPOS also has
integrated, efficient desktop management functions.
These increase system availability and make
administration simpler.
